Larry Baker partnered with Alpine Agency Inc. (a subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of SC) in 1997. He grew the agency for over 20 years to be one of the largest BCBSSC agencies in the state of South Carolina. Larry Baker formed Southeast Insurance Agency in 2015.
Larry Baker and Southeast Insurance Agency purchased the Camden Insurance Agency from longtime owners Joe and Ruby Hornsby. In 1975, the Hornsbys purchased the agency from its original owners, the Mosier family, and have served Kershaw County’s insurance needs ever since.
Baker said Southeast Insurance will carry on that tradition.
“In fact (that tradition) is in our slogan: ‘Down Home Neighborly Service One Customer at a Time,’" Baker said. “We are an independent agency representing many insurance companies. This allows us to shop your insurance and find a policy that fits your needs.”
Southeast Insurance is a full-service agency providing insurance needs such as life, annuities, health, Medicare, group, auto, home, business, commercial, workers' compensation, and other policies.
